About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Woburn Sands, Milton Keynes, Jalori Indian Cuisine offers an authentic South Asian dining experience that delights the senses from the moment you step inside. Specializing in Indian and broader Asian fare, this restaurant masterfully balances traditional flavors with a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere that invites both regulars and newcomers alike.

Jalori’s menu is a treasure trove for lovers of rich, aromatic spices and carefully crafted dishes. The naan bread, soft yet with a perfect golden crispness, serves as the perfect vessel to savor their flavorful Mushroom Bhajee or the indulgently creamy Butter Chicken. For those who prefer a lighter touch, the Kale Salad and variety of fresh, zesty sides and starters offer a refreshing counterpoint to the richness of traditional curries.

The vegetable main courses here truly stand out. Whether it’s the velvety Paneer Mushroom Makhani, the vibrant and spicy Navratan Jalfrezi, or the soul-warming Tarka Dall, each dish is layered with skillful seasoning and texture that evoke the essence of South Asian culinary artistry. Even European palate favorites like the Roast Chicken are thoughtfully prepared, offering something for all tastes without sacrificing quality or authenticity.

Customers consistently praise the warm hospitality and attentive service, which enhances the overall dining experience. Stephen shares how “every one was friendly and made you feel welcome,” while Gemma Walsh highlights the impeccable food paired with the “most friendly and welcoming” staff she has encountered. This genuine care for guests creates a relaxed, inviting environment that feels like more than just a meal—it’s an experience to savor and return to.

For takeaway fans and spice lovers alike, Jalori never disappoints. Imogen Grace recommends the fiery Naga for those who crave heat, while the mild Passanda offers a luscious alternative steeped in balanced flavors. The thoughtful inclusion of peshwari naan bread, richly sweet and nutty, perfectly complements these dishes, demonstrating Jalori’s commitment to providing a full spectrum of tastes and textures.

In every bite at Jalori Indian Cuisine, you can feel the passion for authentic, high-quality food coupled with a genuine desire to welcome and satisfy each guest. For anyone seeking an exceptional Indian dining experience in Milton Keynes, this gem on High Street promises to leave a lasting impression, season after season.

Best Indian restaurant ever. No doubt. We had a take away for New Year’s Eve and had 0 faults. We chose here after seeing their awards. Everything was so full of flavour, great portions and good quality. We’re looking forward to coming back and eating in the restaurant, looked lovely. If you like spicy we’d recommend the Naga, and for more mild the passanda was amazing. The peshwari naan bread was perfect, I’ve been wanting one just like that for years but everything nowadays seems to be thin and plain. Thank you to the lovely friendly staff too!

Recently moved to the area and was recommended this place a tonne. It was my first ever time in an Indian restaurant and what an experience it was. The food was impeccable and the staff we're the most friendly and welcoming I've come across. I will absolutely be coming back time and time again

Outstanding curry, still has a traditional curry house feel which I like, and the food was so good. Prompt and friendly service. Will definitely be back soon.

Very nice welcome, seated and service straight away on drinks and poppadoms, which was very good, spent 2 hours here and restaurant was very busy with work Christmas party’s. But that never interfered with our service . (Just two of us). Four stars because it could have been a bit warmer. Will deffo go back, highly recommend this place.

Excellent restaurant on Woburn Sands main street. The service from the start was attentive and helpful. The food was fresh and very tasty and all the dishes looked and tasted much better than so many local curry restaurants.
